Typical situation no. 18
The lease for a 12 MW site provides for a level 5 test: cutting the grid supply under full simulated load and checking that the UPS, generators and cooling take over without interruption. No one on the owner's team has ever run such a test.
WHAT IS BLOCKING
- A poorly prepared test can damage equipment or reveal a fault at the worst possible moment.
- It requires load banks, detailed procedures, acceptance criteria and a rollback plan.
- The tenant will witness the test: its confidence in the site is decided that day.
WHAT WE DO
- Drafting or review of the test protocol, scenario by scenario.
- Check of prerequisites: lower-level tests, settings, load banks, teams.
- Dry run and check of hold points.
- Management of the test and drafting of the report.
WHAT YOU GET
- A test protocol approved by all parties.
- A test report that can be relied on contractually, with measurements and findings.
- The list of any corrections required before acceptance.
Typical format: Preparation over two to three weeks, then presence during the test. Every assignment is scoped in writing before it starts.
