Our clients ask for confidentiality, and we name no client without written consent. Rather than a wall of logos, here are eight typical assignments as we run them: the starting situation, the deliverables, the indicative duration and the expert involved.

These examples are composite and anonymised: they describe typical assignments, not a specific client or project. Durations are indicative and depend on the file and grid operator timelines. Our commitment is a best-efforts obligation.

1. PREPARING THE GRID CONNECTION REQUEST

Project developer, about 80 MW, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Situation: The land is secured and RTE's exploratory study is in. The developer wants to file a solid PTF request without losing time or queue position.
Deliverables: Review of the exploratory study, PTF request file, single-line diagram in principle, follow-up of RTE's review and reading of the PTF before acceptance.
Indicative duration: Three to six months, depending on RTE
Who is involved: A high-voltage engineer, with GridReadiness coordinating
See: RTE connection request

2. CHECKING THE ANNOUNCED POWER BEFORE AN OFFER

Infrastructure fund, site marketed at 100 MW Situation: A seller markets a 100 MW "connected" site. The fund wants to know what the documents are really worth before a binding offer.
Deliverables: Red flag memo on documents: type of connection document, queue entry date, deadlines, capacity actually justified, remaining works.
Indicative duration: Two to four weeks
Who is involved: A high-voltage engineer and GridReadiness
See: Power claim verification

3. LENDER'S TECHNICAL ADVISOR

Lending bank, project finance Situation: A bank is assessing the financing of a data center under construction. It wants an independent view on the connection and equipment timeline that drives first revenues.
Deliverables: Review report: grid connection, transformers, permits, schedule risks and points to cover in the finance documents.
Indicative duration: Three to six weeks
Who is involved: A high-voltage engineer and GridReadiness
See: Lender due diligence

4. ASSESSING A PLOT'S DATA CENTER POTENTIAL

Landowner, plot of about thirty hectares Situation: A landowner is approached by a developer and wants to understand what the land is worth depending on available power, before signing an option.
Deliverables: Potential memo: nearest substation, published capacity, raw land vs land with a PTF vs land with a connection agreement, points to watch in the option.
Indicative duration: Three to six weeks
Who is involved: A high-voltage engineer and GridReadiness, with a lawyer if needed
See: Landowners

5. HOSTING A PROJECT WITH EYES OPEN

Group of municipalities, project announced locally Situation: A data center project is announced. Elected officials want to know which questions to ask, which safeguards to request and how to prepare public consultation.
Deliverables: Questions and safeguards memo, review of the developer's documents, preparation of public meetings.
Indicative duration: Four to eight weeks
Who is involved: A community acceptance specialist and GridReadiness
See: Local authorities

6. DENSIFYING FOR AI

Operator of an existing site Situation: An operator wants to host high-density racks and needs to know whether power, cooling and organisation can follow.
Deliverables: Capacity and operations audit, additional power need, approach to the grid operator, action plan.
Indicative duration: Four to eight weeks
Who is involved: A former head of critical-site operations and a high-voltage engineer
See: Operations audit

7. SECURING HIGH-VOLTAGE EQUIPMENT

Developer with several projects Situation: Transformers ordered today from major manufacturers rarely arrive before 2030. The developer wants to align procurement with the connection timeline.
Deliverables: Procurement strategy: specifications, makers to consult, order windows, schedule risks.
Indicative duration: Two to four weeks
Who is involved: A high-voltage engineer
See: Transformer lead times

8. REGAINING CONTROL OF A CONTESTED PROJECT

Developer facing local opposition Situation: A petition is circulating and an appeal has been announced. The developer must respond quickly without making things worse.
Deliverables: Diagnosis, response plan, preparation of public meetings and of discussions with elected officials and State services.
Indicative duration: Depending on the situation, from the first days
Who is involved: A crisis management and acceptance specialist
See: Crisis management

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why don't you name your clients?

Most data center projects remain confidential until a late stage. We name a client only with written consent. These examples describe what we do without identifying any project.

How much does an assignment cost?

Each assignment is covered by a written proposal with scope, deliverables, timeline and a price fixed in advance, after a first conversation.
